Erin has begun to establish a practice in public children law accepting instructions from all parties. She prides herself on her ability to build rapport with parents within these proceedings and giving clear advice.
Erin has acted in all stages of private law proceedings including multi-day final hearings and fact-finds and works towards solution with both represented parties and litigants in person.
In both areas, Erin has extensive experience of acting for vulnerable clients who have experienced domestic abuse.
Prior to joining chambers, Erin successfully completed a mixed pupillage on the South-Eastern Circuit . This was predominately family law, with criminal and civil in her second-six. Erin was regularly instructed by solicitors for magistrates defence work, as well as prosecuting on behalf of the CPS. Her civil work saw her witness handling in contentious hearings and appearing in the High Court. Erin’s broad experience has enhanced her family practice.
Erin lived in Leeds prior to her pupillage, having studied and worked as a paralegal in a tier 1 law firm in the pro bono and private family departments. She is delighted to be back in the North.
