Georgina Dalton

Barrister

Georgina commenced a family and public law pupillage at Chambers in September 2020 becoming a full tenant in September 2021.

Since this time Georgina has developed experience in both public and private law children matters. Georgina prides herself on building a good rapport with both professional and lay clients. Having previously undertaken voluntary work in the community with vulnerable adults, Georgina is well equipped in representing those who may require additional support.

Prior to commencing pupillage, in 2018 and 2019 Georgina was the winner of the ‘Aspire Award’ and now works alongside ‘The Guinness Partnership’ to promote the award which enables people to fund their desired career paths.

Public Law Children

Georgina regularly appears on behalf of local authorities and parents in public law children matters and has experience in dealing with cases involving a wide range of issues including domestic abuse, substance misuse and neglect.

Georgina has represented clients throughout the court process from case management hearings through to final contested hearings.

Private Law Children

Georgina has a particular interest in private law children work and has appeared on behalf of Applicants and Respondents in multi-day fact finding hearings involving serious allegations. She also has experience in representing clients seeking or opposing non-molestation orders and occupations orders and is able to work collaboratively with those involved to reach desired solutions
