Shannon Hart

Public Law Clerk

Shannon has 10 years experience in clerking.  Initially starting as the Office Junior, she quickly rose to the positions of Junior Clerk, and Family Clerk, before proudly stepping into the role Public Law Clerk.

 

Her professional and approachable manner has been recognised most recently in the Legal500, where she was described as ‘friendly, helpful and knowledgeable’.

 

Key Roles/Responsibilities

  • Diary management
  • Provide dedicated clerking to the Public Law Team, coordinating their diaries and ensuring prompt receipt of papers
  • Billing/fee negotiation
  • Shannon enters into fee negotiations with clients and ensures prompt billing of all matters
  • Practice development
  • Shannon proactively takes steps to assist Counsel in developing their practice areas, and cultivates and maintains strong client relationships in order to achieve this.

 

Outside of Chambers, Shannon is a mum to two incredible children, and an avid reader.
