Pippa is a specialist child protection and Court of Protection barrister with a practice focussed on the deprivation of liberty of children and young people.
Pippa has an established child-protection practice, representing local authorities, parents, children and NHS bodies in complex cases. She is regularly instructed in cases which involve the deprivation of liberty of a child and has extensive knowledge in this field including the tricky issues of restraint, consent and state responsibility.
