Donna has over thirty-three years of experience in chambers, has seen us grow and has been actively involved in its’ development from those early years. In this time, she has gained extensive clerking experience across all areas including Crime, Civil and Family. She decided to specialise in Family Law and, latterly, in Public Law bringing her wealth of expertise to the role.
Her role as Chamber’s Senior Family Clerk is pivotal to the organisation and smooth running of the clerking team and more importantly, members’ diaries and work. Her calm, practical and always professional approach is appreciated and highly valued by Clients, Members and colleagues alike. This was recognised in the recent edition of Chambers and Partners where she was described as “organised, efficient and helpful.”
Roles and responsibilities:
- Ensure that Clients receive the highest level of service and expertise in meeting their needs.
- Developing closer ties with Clients to better understand and meet their changing needs.
- Provide the highest level of clerking to all members of Chambers.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to the clerking team.
- With the Senior Clerk, set the required standards of the clerking team and performance.
- As staff Wellbeing Officer, continue to offer help and support and be aware of all stress factors influencing barristers and staff alike.
In her spare time Donna enjoys spending time with her family and friends, loves her holidays and going to the gym.
